We have a fantastic opportunity for a Business Development Manager to join our Commercial team based at Aintree & Haydock Park Racecourse. We’re looking for a dynamic sales professional to drive new business and enquiries in Hospitality, C&E and Partnerships, targeting new commercial customers and sectors to deliver growth through proactive client engagement and strategic meetings both on-site and off-site

🟢 The Business Development Manager will
- Identify and drive new business opportunities with partners and direct clients to exceed financial targets and KPIs.
- Attend exhibitions, industry events, and networking opportunities, representing Aintree and Haydock Park.
- Collaborate with Sales Managers to convert hot bookings and support client appointments and show rounds.
- Develop and implement targeted new business acquisition plans with the Head of Commercial.
- Engage HNW clients for VIP hospitality bookings, including the Grand National.
- Review marketing plans with C&E/Hospitality teams to optimise spend and recommend improvements.
- Report on sales activity, pipeline, ROI from events, and competitor insights to inform strategy. Manage client enquiries effectively, maintain accurate records in Momentus, and support general sales office duties

- Deep experience in sales, ideally within Meetings, Events, or Hospitality.
- Forward-thinking, ambitious, and focused on achieving and exceeding targets.
