The Marketing Coordinator will be across the hands-on development, delivery and ongoing management of campaigns.
Weâre looking for a Marketing Co-Ordinator to join the TV Content Marketing team. Itâs an exciting role for anyone looking for their first step within the TV Marketing world. The position sits within the Unscripted Content Marketing team. However, youâll have the opportunity to work across both Unscripted and Scripted content, on titles such as The Traitors, Gladiators, Race Across the World, Glow Up, The Gold, The Night Manager to name a few.
Youâll work closely with wider teams to deliver innovative and impactful 360 marketing campaigns that drive talkability and enhance the BBC brand. The role is an entry level position so there isnât a requirement for extensive experience, but weâre looking for a candidate who is motivated and can bring a fresh perspective. Â
Campaign Development and Delivery
⢠  Supports the overall development and delivery of marketing campaigns.
⢠  Supports the Marketing Executive/Manager in the process of creative asset development, by taking ownership for a discrete selection of campaign assets and ensuring delivery is made according to the media plan deliverables of each individual campaign plan.
⢠  Independently manage end-to-end marketing campaigns for less complex deliverables in the Marketing Plan
⢠  Work closely with internal teams to develop creative concepts and assets from inception
⢠  Supports the Marketing team with the necessary compliance of all marketing and communications activity by following BBC Editorial Guidelines.
⢠  Organises all campaign collateral and documentation such that we maintain strong records of assets, plans, and performance of individual campaigns.
Strategy and Planning
⢠  Follows Strategic Plans as guidance throughout the campaign development process.
⢠  Understands audience insight relevant to their respective campaigns, and applies it to the creation of campaign assets.
⢠  Assists in the evaluation of campaign performance with the Audiences team, including supply of assets for testing, and understanding results of audience research.
⢠  Accountable for multiple deliverables at any one time, and successfully managing their time across them all to ensure each is delivered with excellence.
Relationships and Development
⢠  Assists in cross-team co-ordination across creative, media, social, and comms to ensure that campaign tactics are well understood and integrated across the teams, for a timely and integrated delivery across the team.
⢠  Takes a proactive interest in learning and developing their marketing discipline skills, and proactively offer opinion and seek feedback to influence plans, and to grow and develop professional expertise.
The Marketing Coordinator will be expected to either have some limited marketing experience, or can demonstrate a clear aptitude for marketing work which involves creative judgement, skills of organisation, and ability to influence and collaborate with others.

⢠  Experience of working in the media from an agency or client side perspective.
