Job Description

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

We are looking to improve systems across Wasserman and its relevant agencies. We require someone to support this change by ensuring our credit control runs smoothly.

You will:

  • Develop, implement and maintains systems, procedures and policies, within the team and treasury;
  • Ensuring credit control is performed and managed at the right level;
  • All sales invoices are created accurately and distributed on time;
  • Performing necessary control checks to ensure revenue and receipting completeness;
  • Forecasting inbound cash receipts and taking the initiative and pre-empt issues with appropriate solutions;
  • Improving debtor days and performance managing staff to reach high standards;
  • Verifying and contributing to the management of cash within the business, with regular accurate and updated forecasts of upcoming cash requirements;
  • Providing commercial input and regular review of current customers to create more efficient working relationships;
  • Create appropriate controls to ensure all recharges are recorded and on-charged as appropriate;
  • Ensure all month end tasks are completed in line with month-end;
  • You will need to challenge the 'norm' in an appropriate manner to ensure continuous improvement across the business.

THE SKILLS AND EXPERIECE YOU NEED

  • Credit control and accounting or directly related experience preferably in a SSC environment;
  • Excellent credit control track record, along with good accounting understanding; ​
  • Excellent track record of improving processes and developing systems (ERP);
  • Strong communication skills - both written and oral;
  • Professional attitude and ability to communicate with people at all levels;
  • Solutions orientated, proactive, and able to take owe
  • Strong customer focus;
  • Highly numerate and accurate with excellent attention to detail;
  • Strong stakeholder management and communications skills.
