We’re currently looking for a Breaking News Writer to join the CNN Breaking/Live News Team and help cover history!
CNN’s Breaking/Live News Team is across the biggest, most relevant, and engaging stories around the globe while focusing on creating a dynamic live experience for our readers. Our team of editors and writers jump on everything, from major weather disasters and announcements from world leaders to the Olympics, international elections, notable trials and covering the war in Ukraine. We follow the most significant stories in real time and across multiple time zones. This team has an insatiable appetite for breaking news and chasing fast-moving stories.
This is a weekend role with a Saturday through to Wednesday schedule.
Onsite Working - This role is advertised as Onsite, meaning all working hours and days (regardless of shift pattern) will be carried out at the place of work. Subject to any applicable laws, WBD / your Line Manager reserves the right to change this working agreement, where this is essential to business needs and upon reasonable notice to you.
