The overall purpose of this role is to lead technical SEO on your clients, develop and implement successful strategies, drive innovation and manage a team of executives to ensure delivery is of the highest standard.
The Technical SEO Manager will work as part of the wider SEO team to deliver best-in-class technical SEO retainers and projects. The role will be dedicated to driving performance through the day-to-day management and effective implementation for a number of key client accounts.
Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Taking ownership of technical SEO retainers and projects across a range of industries
Developing and implementing successful SEO strategies
Conducting technical SEO audits, data analysis and competitor analysis
Leading on client meetings, including QBRs and regular calls
Presenting to senior stakeholders
Supporting with the development and implementation of Account Development Plans (ADPs)
Creating and delivering presentations, weekly updates and QBRs to a high standard
Ensuring adherence to all internal processes, including knowledge sharing and reporting
Working with the wider SEO team to deliver best-in-class service and results for clients
Managing a team of SEO Executives to deliver high quality work
Supporting SEO team members on technical SEO questions and providing training as required
Strong technical SEO knowledge, including familiarity with JavaScript frameworks, Core Web Vitals and site migrations
Minimum of 3 yearsβ experience in a technical SEO role
Ability to confidently speak to clients and senior stakeholders
Experience managing junior team members
Ability to manage multiple projects and clients simultaneously
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
Excellent attention to detail, with an analytical and problem-solving mindset
Strong data analysis skills, with experience using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Screaming Frog
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google Workspace products, particularly Excel/Google Sheets, Word/Google Docs, and PowerPoint/Google Slides
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and to mentor junior team members
Croud operates a hybrid working model with a minimum of 3 days a week based in our London office and the remaining days from home if you wish.

Standard hours are from 9.00am to 5.30pm, thereβs flexibility if agreed in advance with your line managers (it may also be necessary on occasions to work outside of these hours).
