Job title: Customer Relations Executive

Based at: Aintree & Haydock Park Racecourse

Contract type: FTC 12 months.  

Hours: 22.5 hours per week

We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Relations Executive to handle all aspects of the Northwest Regions customer relations, including the sales and delivery of memberships and tickets, group ticket sales and cover the racecourse receptions.

🟢 The Customer Relations Executive will

  • Serve as the main contact for all customer service inquiries, including group tickets, memberships, and site experience, on both race days and non-race days.
  • Oversee all membership and admission badge processes, including orders and deliveries, reciprocal bookings with other courses, and ensuring a positive race day experience as a Racecourse and Jockey Club ambassador.
  • Manage all aspects of annual badge sales, using proactive techniques to convert inquiries, upsell, and meet regional membership sales targets.
  • Help process ticket transactions and act as the main contact for ticketing queries from the Jockey Club Ticketing Department.  
  • Increase group ticket sales through by managing relationships with coach, limousine companies and group travel organisers.  
  • Proactively source new local ‘groups’ locally and nationwide to book tickets for race days working closely with the marketing team on specific promotions.  
  • Support the Raceday Operations Team with racecourse access control and assist with all customer enquiries including accessibility queries.
  • Assist pass card printing and handle related admin for annual member fulfilment across the region’s racecourses.
  • Represent the Region as required at exhibitions, open days, and other client liaison activities.
  • Co-ordinate and respond as appropriate to customer complaints.
  • Prepare reports where required for the Northwest Director and for use by Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Cover reception desks at Aintree Racecourse and Haydock Park Racecourse as required day to day and for race days working.

🔵 About you

  • Experience of working in a Customer Service or relationship management role.
  • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft packages.
  • Understanding and knowledge of organizing large scale events.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team player with a ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Organised and able to prioritise workload.
  • Ability to remain calm in a busy sometimes pressurised environment.
  • Available to work weekends.
