📝 Your New Role…

You will support the delivery of Retail Sales Revenue through top-notch marketing, planning, and activation execution. You will work on UK Retail plans and product launches supporting our blockbuster movie and TV show releases for 2025/2026. Our aim is to connect with fans across every channel—from physical stores to e-commerce, social commerce, direct-to-consumer platforms, and themed experiences.

To create excitement at the Physical and Digital Retail shelf edge for everyone, from kids to adults. Working hand-in-hand with our Retail partners, our goal is to deliver innovative solutions that delight customers, grab attention, and disrupt routine consumer shopping missions.

📋 Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Retail Activation Support: Assist the Retail Team in planning and executing Retail activations across e-commerce channels.
  • Retailer Engagement: Enhance engagement with top-tier grocery, specialist, and e-commerce retailers like Tesco, Amazon, ASDA, The Entertainer, and Smyths Toys by creating tailored pitches and presentations.
  • Market Insights: Keep us informed on market trends, including Back-to-School trends, impactful product launches, and consumer engagement on TikTok Shop.
  • Campaign Analysis: Collaborate with Warner Bros. agencies to evaluate campaign performance and provide insights to shape future activities.
  • Internal Collaboration: Build relationships with Marketing, Franchise, and Finance teams.
  • Digital Trends Insight: Leverage your knowledge of consumer trends to inform e-commerce strategies.
  • Administrative Tasks: Provide support in arranging meetings, conducting industry research, trade show support, and managing financial admin.
  • Planning Documents: Maintain planning documents like the 12-month UK Trade Plan, Retail Summaries, and Ad Pub spend.
  • Strategic Planning Support: Work closely with the team to support the planning and delivery of the UK Retail Strategic Plan.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience…

  • Education: You must be a University student in your 2nd year, seeking a 3rd-year placement, and graduating no earlier than July 2027.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Proactive Mindset: Self-starter who uses initiative to support the Retail Team.
  • Attention to Detail: High accuracy in tasks.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong time management and organization skills.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other IT systems.
  • Consumer Passion: Interest in global consumer brands and trends.
  • Adobe Creative Suite: Knowledge is a plus.
  • Data Interpretation: Ability to interpret data and suggest data-driven solutions.
  • Commercial Awareness: Basic understanding of the e-commerce retail environment is beneficial.

💼 The Internship…

  • Salary: £25,000 p/a
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Start Date: 30th June 2025
  • Experience: Work on business-critical projects with hands-on experience.

📅 Next Steps…

  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday, 17th November (applications close after this date).
  • Stage 2: Eligible candidates will receive an invitation to complete a written and video questionnaire on HireVue by Sunday, 24th November.
  • Stage 3: Interviews will take place in January.

🌐 Hybrid Working

This role follows a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work as per our current company policy, in agreement with your Line Manager. WBD or your Line Manager reserves the right to adjust this working arrangement as essential to business needs, with reasonable notice.
