🎯 Your New Role...

The Warner Bros. Discovery Learning and Development Team is a global team within the People and Culture group, dedicated to driving a highly engaged and high-performing culture by supporting all employees with their learning and development. Our strategy involves fostering a growth mindset across the organization and inspiring world-class leaders and managers who, in turn, lead highly engaged and high-performing teams.

The Learning and Development team for WBD is made up of smaller teams with different focus areas. This role will sit in the Operations team and support projects across the wider Learning and Development team.

🎓 Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Project Work: Supporting various projects in areas that span the scope of the wider L&D team, such as global leadership development, people management development, tech learning, open-enrolment programs, etc.
  • Session Producing: Providing setup and technical help within virtual live sessions.
  • Design & Communication: Assisting with the design and communication of learning content—such as learning resources, speaker sessions, and bite-sized videos.
  • Evaluations: Collecting, analyzing, and presenting evaluation data.
  • Research: Evaluating and researching current trends and innovations within the learning and development space.
  • Administrative Support: Assisting with coordination, administration, and reporting when launching programs, training content, surveys, initiatives, etc. Includes monitoring the Learning inbox for inquiries, Learning platform maintenance, and administering assessments for learning courses and teams.

🛠 Qualifications & Experience…

  • Education: You must be a current University student in your 2nd year, looking to spend your 3rd year on placement and graduating no earlier than July 2027.
  • Interest & Skills: Strong interest in human resources and people development.
  • Organizational Skills: Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks professionally and in a timely manner.
  • Proactive Attitude: Self-starter with a proactive approach to resolving problems and issues.
  • Communication: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Data Analysis: Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general information and data.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to interact with personnel at all levels, treating all with dignity and respect. Open and receptive to their needs.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to troubleshoot efficiently and seek better ways to streamline processes.
  • Presentation Skills: Confidence in presenting information clearly and effectively.
  • Computer Skills: Strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint preferred.

💼 The Internship…

  • Salary: £25,000 p/a
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Start Date: 30th June 2025
  • Hands-On Experience: Gain experience working on business-critical projects.

📅 Next Steps…

  • Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday, 17th November (applications close after this date).
  • Stage 2: Eligible candidates will be invited to complete a written questionnaire on HireVue, due by Sunday, 24th November.
  • Stage 3: A pre-recorded video interview on HireVue will be sent out, to be completed in December & January.
  • Stage 4: Interviews will take place in January.

🌐 Hybrid Working

This role follows a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work as per our current company policy, in agreement with your Line Manager. WBD or your Line Manager reserves the right to adjust this working arrangement as essential to business needs, with reasonable notice.
