📊 Your New Role…

The Insights & Analytics Placement Interns will support Warner Bros. Discovery’s teams to provide reporting and analysis, which help inform strategic and creative business decisions.

📝 Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Trend Monitoring: Monitor competitor and market trends.
  • Infringement & Enforcement Reports: Analyse infringement and enforcement data, producing detailed reports.
  • Piracy Landscape: Monitor and report on various aspects of the international piracy landscape, in addition to research projects.
  • Data Insights: Support in interpreting and manipulating large volumes of data to provide actionable insights in a user-friendly way.
  • Performance Reporting: Assist in the production and distribution of performance reports for WBD’s UK & Ireland streaming and broadcast business, providing context to performance trends.
  • Viewer Insights: Analyse various research insights to understand more about our viewers, their content choices, and behavior.
  • Channel & Program Analysis: Assess channel and programme broadcast performance, especially for WBD’s Kids portfolio and key competitors.
  • Digital Sales Reporting: Produce, maintain, and distribute weekly reports for Film and TV digital sales across multiple platforms.
  • Release Tracking: Track release dates and assist in planning key event dates.
  • Ad Hoc Requests: Handle ad hoc analysis requests from the UK and US offices and prepare analysis and reports.

🎓 Qualifications & Experience…

  • Education Requirement: Current University student in 2nd year, seeking a 3rd-year placement, graduating no earlier than July 2027.
  • Learning Motivation: Willingness to learn new tools and data analysis techniques.
  • Quantitative Skills: Strong quantitative skills and enthusiasm for data.
  • Attention to Detail: Good attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Software Proficiency: Knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Professional Communication: Ability to interact professionally with people at all levels.

💼 The Internship…

  • Salary: £25,000 p/a
  • Contract Length: 12 months
  • Start Date: 30th June 2025
  • Experience: Hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

📅 Next Steps…

  1. Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday, 17th November (no applications accepted after this date).
  2. Stage 2: Eligible candidates will receive an invitation to complete a written questionnaire in HireVue by Sunday, 24th November.
  3. Stage 3: Pre-recorded video interview via HireVue, to be completed in December & January.
  4. Stage 4: Assessment Centres & Interviews scheduled for February-March.

🌐 Hybrid Working

This role follows a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work as per our current company policy, in agreement with your Line Manager. WBD or your Line Manager reserves the right to adjust this working arrangement as essential to business needs, with reasonable notice.
