🎯 Your New Role...
As Digital Production Placement Intern, you will have the opportunity to work in various production stages and interact with multiple teams to develop skills in a Digital Production environment. You will support the day-to-day activities of the Central Digital team, with responsibilities ranging from general administrative tasks to hands-on digital production duties.
🎓 Your Role Accountabilities…
Project Support: Assist Digital Managers and Producers in developing and delivering projects like microsites, games, and stunts by implementing WBD’s Editorial best practices.
Design Support: Create design assets that will support all digital products developed by the team.
Content Management: Learn to use Content Management Systems (CMS) of core products and perform content updates, metadata insertion, SEO tasks, and user/content management.
Product Testing: Support usability, regression, functional, and performance testing of products.
Quality Assurance: Regularly monitor live digital products (websites, apps, games, YouTube), document any issues or defects, notify relevant team members, and assist in implementing fixes.
Media Capture: Capture video footage from games and apps.
Cross-Department Collaboration: Work with team members and other departments to keep projects running smoothly.
Market Research: Research digital trends by reviewing competitors’ products and top-ranking apps and games.
Team Involvement: Participate in brainstorming sessions and team meetings.
Administrative Tasks: Assist with general admin duties, including asset uploads, file renaming, and updating content lists.
🛠 Qualifications & Experience…
Education: You must be a current University student in your 2nd year, seeking a 3rd-year placement and graduating no earlier than July 2027.
Interest in Digital Products: Enthusiasm for web builds, game, and app creation (coding knowledge is not required).
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Problem-Solving: Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Self-Motivation: Positive, enthusiastic attitude, and a willingness to learn.
Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with internal and external parties.
Software Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Design Tools: Knowledge of photo/picture editing tools and video capturing software is a plus.
💼 The Internship…
Salary: £25,000 p/a
Contract Length: 12 months
Start Date: 30th June 2025
Experience: Hands-on experience working on business-critical projects.

Stage 1: Submit your CV by Sunday, 17th November (applications close after this date).
Stage 2: Eligible candidates will receive an invitation to complete a written questionnaire on HireVue, due by Sunday, 24th November.
Stage 3: A pre-recorded video interview on HireVue will be sent out for completion in December & January.
Stage 4: Interviews will take place in January.

🌐 Hybrid Working
This role follows a Hybrid work model, combining remote and in-office work as per our current company policy, in agreement with your Line Manager. WBD or your Line Manager reserves the right to adjust this working arrangement as essential to business needs, with reasonable notice.
