Warner Bros. Discovery’s global technology organization sits at the intersection of tech, entertainment, and everyday utility. Our platform covers everything from search, catalog, and video transcoding to personalization and global subscriptions. As a pure tech organization, we play an essential role in Warner Bros. The Data Analytics team is focused on driving better customer understanding through data and scientific methods. We handle everything from data collection to applying business logic and converting data into reports and insights. As an end-to-end analytics team, we specialize in data ingestion, cleaning, transformation, exploration, and reporting, ultimately helping internal and external stakeholders make a meaningful impact in the organization.

• Global Network: By the end of the program, you will have built a global network of Engineers, Product Managers, Data Scientists, Data Analysts, Product Designers, Marketers, and business leaders. This network will be invaluable throughout your career.

🔍 About the Projects You May Work On

As an intern, you’ll focus on solving a specific problem area under guidance from senior team members. You’ll develop a solution using technical and mathematical concepts learned academically, applying them to real-life customer, content, and/or product data. Your solution will contribute to the team’s understanding of user behavior and product feature usage.

🛠 Skills / Experience

• Working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in fields like Data Analytics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
• Preferred coursework includes Business Intelligence, Statistics, Data Science, Algorithms, and Data Visualization.
• Strong interest in experimentation, recommendation systems, and data visualization.
• Proficiency in SQL and other coding languages (Python is a plus).
• Experience with dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker, PowerBI, Excel).
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Prior experience working cross-functionally with teams (engineers, product managers, strategists) and familiarity with direct-to-consumer digital products is a plus.

🎯 Qualifications

In addition to academic achievements, we seek interns who are naturally curious and passionate about learning. Strong attention to detail and agility in scope are also crucial.

• Must be currently enrolled as a student (proof of enrollment required if selected).
• Must be a rising Junior, Senior, or Grad Student.
• Must be authorized to work for any employer in the country where this role is posted, without requiring visa sponsorship now or in the future.

📅 Global Tech Summer 2025 Program Application Process

• Duration: 11 weeks, from June 2nd to August 15th.
• Compensation: Paid internship (credit is optional, and documentation can be provided).
• Application Deadline: December 13th (applications submitted after this date may not be reviewed).
• Interview Timeline: Interviews conducted on a rolling basis through Fall 2024.

This role follows a Hybrid Working model, combining remote and in-office work as per company policy. Warner Bros. Discovery or your Line Manager may adjust this arrangement based on business needs with reasonable notice.
